  Reutilization
  Conserving resources is one of Wildling Shoes' core values – Carota gives leftover materials from previous models a new lease on life, making it an excellent ambassador for these very principles.

  New edging design
  The new edging in gray-blue and orange not only sports a stylish look, it also delivers exceptional stability and durability.

  Water-repellent
  Carota can withstand rain and damp terrain thanks to this model’s extremely strong and tightly woven yarn made from recycled cotton, together with extra waterproofing.

  Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax)

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer).

  Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  For stubborn stains, we recommend gentle cleaning with our biodegradable cleaning solution "Drops".

  We recommend removing the insoles from the shoes after use for airing and to avoid moisture build-up.
  They can be carefully washed by hand. Allow to dry completely before putting them back. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.

  When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
