First love: Second choice.

Second Choice: What exactly is it?

In the case of Second Choice models, for example, a seam may be slightly faulty or open, or small marks may cause the Wildling model to fall outside the norm – for this reason, Second Choice models are reduced in price. The right of return remains unaffected.

The shoes themselves are marked as Second Choice in the shop and can be added to the shopping basket together with other Wildlings or accessories. The Second Choice price is applied automatically.

Below are sample images of the defect categories with explanations.

  • Imperfect stitching

The seam is faulty: This problem most commonly occurs when sewing the outer material to the microfibre. Sometimes, however, the seam is simply a little crooked or loose.

  • Stains and glue residue

This Wildling is stained, or something went wrong when it was glued. Perhaps with a little patience, it can be cleaned up again. Or it will remain what it is: a Wildling with a beauty spot.

  • Faulty sole

The sole of this shoe is not quite perfect: there may be colour variations, areas where the sole is detached, or a sole gap that is too narrow or too wide.

No anti-ageing product can assist here: this Wildling has visible or noticeable wrinkles.

  • Patch

This Wildling shoe is from a previous collection and has a different patch than newer models. Alternatively, the patch has a small quirk or hasn’t been perfectly glued.
