Arun focuses on pure nature: its upper is made from undyed linen fabric in a robust canvas weave. In addition to the adult and children's versions, the Low Cut is now also available for toddlers. After all, the world is there to be explored and linen, as a durable natural material, is a loyal companion.
Because of the linen used, the shoe may seem a little stiff at first. But don't worry, this is a typical characteristic of the natural material. It feels wonderfully soft after wearing it for just a short time. Arun's upper material was created in collaboration with Wildling partner VirgoCoop: the French-based cooperative is committed to establishing ecological and social textile supply chains from fiber to fabric.
Arun's inner fabric is made of cotton from Cotonea – a brand that also stands for sustainable and transparent supply chains. The off-white outsole rounds off the understated and elegant look.

Canvas (100% linen) [from Europe, undyed, unbleached] – off-white
Interior lining / mid-sole:
100% certified organically grown cotton
Insole (sewn-in):
Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax)
Edging:
Microfiber (90% polyamide, 10% polyurethane) – ecru
Outsole:
Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – off-white
Fit
Care

Waterproofing before first-time wear
Waterproofing is generally not required for this model as it does not have any water-repellent properties. We leave it up to you to decide whether you still want to waterproof the shoes.
Cleaning
A light, undyed upper material was used for this model, which lends it its special charm. However, this material is therefore somewhat more sensitive to dirt. For stains and stubborn dirt, the cleaning solution "Drop" can help restore the shoes to their former glory.
The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

Additional notes

Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.
A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.
Due to linen’s and hemp’s natural properties, the upper may exhibit occasional bunching. Fortunately, this does not affect the quality of your shoe.
When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.
When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
