  Art meets shoes: artists Jumu Monster and Mari Pavanelli have created very special graphic elements for the limited edition Alma model, giving the Wildling a unique look. The fact that this work of art – which even features a fox  – could be created is also thanks to a wonderful collaboration with Viva con Agua Arts, who introduced Wildling and the two artists to each other.

  The upper material consists of a cotton-linen mix in a robust canvas weave. Cotton and linen are naturally breathable so that moisture can be whisked away easily and our feet are well-ventilated. The lining, like the cotton content in the upper material, is made from Cotonea cotton. The Cotonea brand has set itself the task of ensuring sustainable material production with raw materials from organic farming and fair trade.

  As a special piece of artistry, every shoe contains a patch in the design of the artists.

  Interior lining / mid-sole:
  100% certified organically grown cotton

  Insole (removable):
  Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax)

  Canvas (60% certified organic cotton, 40% certified organic linen) – light gray

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – toffee

• Fit

  Choose your normal size for a comfortable fit.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  Waterproofing is generally not required for this model as it does not have any water-repellent properties. We leave it up to you to decide whether you still want to waterproof the shoes.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together and carefully brushing them out when they’re dry, or by gently wiping them down with a damp cloth. Rough rubbing will enhance the used look. Not machine washable.

  We recommend removing the insoles from the shoes after use for airing and to avoid moisture build-up.
  They can be carefully washed by hand. Allow to dry completely before putting them back. Not machine washable.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.

  When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
