New edition of the most beautiful winter shoe from my collection
Nessie Refoxed EU 40
I already have the old Nessie and was very sad because it has already run out very drastically by now. Now there was a replacement! The new sole is better suited for winter and wet ground than the sole with the patch, even though Nessie is generally not my first choice when it rains. The new sole is similar to the new shell sole that I already know from the Pegasus Resouled. They feel a bit stiffer than the old patch sole, but you barely notice this in everyday life.
Compared to its predecessor, the knitted waistband was also missing, which made it much easier to put on and was also a visual highlight that set it apart from other wildlings, but had the disadvantage that you can't tie the shoe very close to the ankle at the top and that can sometimes be a bit cool on cold days.
The laces have also changed compared to their predecessor. I liked the old ones because they were different from the laces of my other wildlings. Maybe I'll replace them from old Nessie.
Like my other winter wildlings, I also took Nessie one size larger than my summer wildlings and the size fits well.
Size recommendation:
Buy one size larger.

How great to read that your Nessie has already had so many adventures with you! It's great that you can now continue to roam through winter with the new version.
The redesigned sole provides more grip for winter days, and it's exciting to hear how you perceive the difference from the old version. If the old shoelaces add that little bit extra, then the swap might be just the thing for you!

Very good
Nessie Refoxed EU 40
I chose the new Nessie because I loved my old ones, which broke up after all these years. With the new Nessie, I love the new sole, but I regret that the knitted waistband no longer exists. I found it very pleasant to put on and take off. Now it is sometimes a bit cumbersome and tight to get in the shoe.

Buy one size larger.
