RUTH ASAWA

RUTH ASAWA, a visionary and icon of modern art, inspires us to look at the world from a new perspective. By observing deeply and constantly experimenting with simple materials, she shaped fascinating works that today adorn the world's leading museums.

Craft, Japan, nature, motion—there is a profound synergy between RUTH ASAWA's artistry and Wildling. Both show how ordinary elements can become extraordinary enough to change our perception. This Special Edition brings that connection to life: lightweight, mindfully designed, and open to new ways of seeing.

San Francisco was RUTH ASAWA’s creative home—and for us, it became a place of encounter. Connections were made that reach far beyond design. New networks were spun. Out of this, a shoe was born. A piece of art in motion: crafted in Porto, danced in Berlin, and worn by all of us.
