  Warm days, changing weather, everyday life, weekends or travel: Tanuki and Atmo cover a lot of what life on the go can bring. Both combine exceptional flexibility with direct ground feel on the Gap Sole – each playing to its strengths exactly when you need them.

  Light & airy
  With an upper made from Japanese washi paper, Tanuki feels exceptionally light and airy. The material is breathable, allows water to pass through and dries quickly. Perfect for warm days, travelling and all those moments when you want to feel as little shoe as possible.

  Ready for change
  Atmo takes over when things get cooler or wetter. Tightly woven organic cotton and an integrated membrane add protection in changing weather without restricting natural movement. Two flexible Wildlings – and pretty much everything you really need.

  100% certified organically grown cotton

  Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax)

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – black

  Twill (100% certified organic cotton) – black

  Membrane:
  40% Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), 37% Nylon, 23% Castor Oil

  Interior lining:
  100% certified organically grown cotton

  Insole (removable):
  Hemp fleece (100% hemp)

  Microfiber (40% recycled polyester, 60% polyurethane) – black

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  This minimal shoe is water-permeable. Consequently, waterproofing is not necessary.

  Cleaning

  If the shoes get soiled, it’s best to brush them clean gently when they’re dry or wash them gently by hand. Not machine washable. 

  If this minimal shoe walks through salt water with you, we recommend rinsing it well with fresh water afterwards.

  We recommend removing the insoles from the shoes after use for airing and to avoid moisture build-up.
  They can be carefully washed by hand. Allow to dry completely before putting them back. Not machine washable.

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  For stubborn stains, we recommend gentle cleaning with our biodegradable cleaning solution "Drops".

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.
