Wildling Shoes is seeking a Content Management Specialist (f/m/d)
Start and scope of work: with immediate effect / full time (40 hours) / Deadline for applications: November 6, 2020 / Place of work: remote
Wildling Shoes was founded in 2015 and is a rapidly growing company that designs, produces, and distributes minimal shoes for children and adults. We aim to bring children and adults into more direct contact with their environment and to support an active lifestyle. Our shoes are produced in Portugal under fair labor conditions and are made from predominantly natural materials that are organically sourced (leather-free). With your help, we aim to deliver even better content on our webshops and continue to develop this content in line with our Commitment Team: “With our customers' preferences and needs in focus, we want to work to consistently high standards that are defined by data-driven decisions and customer involvement” (excerpt from Team Commitment).
As Content Management Specialist (f/m/d), you are primarily responsible for the content of the US webshop. As part of this role, you will create content in the site customizer, provide practical support during launches, and take care of product data creation. You support your fellow co-worker, so that together as a team you serve as the contact persons for the US webshop. Your work is primarily done in connection with Shopify, so an affinity for and familiarity with this system is helpful.
What you contribute...
A pioneer mindset and a hands-on mentality: You enjoy being involved in the operational side of your area, and have an independent and solution-oriented mindset and approach to your work
With your extensive knowledge of content management systems (preferably including Shopify’s Product Customizer), you meet the technical requirements
Your basic knowledge of HTML serves as a good technical foundation and makes advanced processes easier to understand
Your work is marked by a high level of responsibility, and you are meticulous when adding content to landing pages, the FAQ page, the homepage, on the Shopify back end, and more.
Your continual desire to learn motivates you and empowers you to master new systems and processes
Your excellent command of English allows you to handle activities and interactions with the US webshop with linguistic confidence. While the focus is on proficiency in English, you should also have a good working knowledge of German to communicate with the team
... you an exciting and dynamic environment along with the opportunity to actively participate in the development of our company. For us, New Work isn’t just another buzzword. Our work is structured remotely, combining virtual meetings with online tools and offering flexibility in terms of location and working time. We meet in person every eight weeks in the Oberbergischer Kreis district or, whenever the mood strikes (and Corona allows), in our co-working spaces in Cologne and Berlin.
If this sounds like just the right thing for you, please send us your application documents in a bundled PDF document, including your earliest possible starting date and your salary expectations, directly to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 6, 2020
We’re looking forward to getting to know you!
